New Umbrian Snow Scenes

There is still snow outside on the hilltops around my studio, but it’s slowly melting in the woods and around the houses. Here are two new paintings. The second one is my most minimalist of miniature paintings. It is both inspired by Hukosai’s glimpses of Mount Fuji series and by the view of Mount Subasio that is often covered in snow and can be seen from our house peaking up through the hills.
