Painted Walls

I should be painting pictures, but I’m procrastinating and I’m painting walls. I’m not even painting the walls in a deep red or a marine blue, it’s just plain white. My whole art studio needs a good paint, but for now I’m just painting one wall white. Sometimes you have to be surrounded by white in order to appreciate the small corners of colour. That goes for walls and paintings too. Maybe I’m using white wall paint now because I’m about to paint a lot of colour for the children’s books. Can I call this, ‘digesting colour’?!

Here is a corner of my studio that I painted with bright colours, many years ago, around two Balinese windows (indoor windows).
