Stromboli Volcano

A few years ago we visited with friends on the Island of Stromboli. The fact that it is one of the few active volcanos in the world upon which people live is mind blowing. In fact, when you arrive in the distance, all you can see is the volcano coming out of the water, knowing, however, that there is far more of it below. There is a certain energy in Stromboli and to hear the volcano make its daily gargling noises is quite something.
