Year of the Sheep/Goat

The Goat, or in some countries, the Sheep or Ram, is the eighth animal in the twelve-year Asian zodiac cycle (see dates below).

Smart, kind, easy-going and reserved, those born in the Year of the Sheep/Goat have a love of harmony and prefer co-existence to confrontation. The serene and sincere Sheep or Goat will use their sensitive and considerate ways to provide stability in their quest for balance.

Knowing that the universe is not static, but constantly changing and renewing itself, the Goat/Sheep sign isn’t completely averse to change, but they would prefer that it arrived peacefully and not as a whirlwind of upheaval.

The Sheep or Goat person appreciates the importance of introspection and understanding, and though gentle and polite, they will never bend under pressure. Underneath their warm façade lies an enduring survivor with amazing inner determination.

Those of the Year of the Sheep or Goat have an innate creativity and happiness and an ability to go with the flow. They are comfortable simply being in the middle of it all as they don’t have an urgent need to take centre stage. Their home is their castle, and they may skip the parade all together, preferring to stay put in their safe haven of calm and quiet.

Because of the Goat or Sheep’s earnest nature and compassionate heart, they are considered to be the luckiest of the zodiac animals. Good fortune shines on this sign, but the Sheep or Goat will still probably worry about the fact that there is nothing to worry about!
