The Year of the Rabbit

The Rabbit (aka Hare) is the fourth animal in the twelve-year Asian zodiac cycle (see dates below).

Those born in the Year of the Rabbit see the world with keen eyes, a calm soul and a kind heart. No matter how serene, the Rabbit is still strong-willed, pursuing personal goals in a precise and orderly manner.

The Rabbit, in fact, is thorough and prone to good judgement and they will do whatever they can to avoid conflict. They love tranquility, and peace and quiet are high on their priority list. No-rocking-the-Rabbit-boat, please. However, even in big-wave-chaos, Rabbits will always do their best to maintain harmony.

This gentle sign is full of wisdom and kindness, and maybe this is why, out of all the Asian zodiac animals, the Rabbit is the one that symbolizes longevity. Intertwined with Rabbits representing long life are their gifts for being considerate and thoughtful.

The Rabbit personality is also blessed with an interesting combination of being lucky and, at the same time, being clever and astute. You would think that with all these great traits, Rabbits would be shouting how great they are from the hilltops, however, people born under this zodiac sign have a very reserved demeanor. After all, the tranquil promotion of a "congenial environment" will get the grass growing much faster.
