The Horse is the seventh animal in the twelve-year Asian Zodiac cycle (see dates below).

Those born in the Year of the Horse are always in motion on an endless search. The Horse may reach the 'ends of the universe', but will, nonetheless, keep moving on.

Always pushing boundaries to see what lies ahead, this open-minded and non-conformist zodiac sign knows that no matter the destination, it’s the journey that is important.

On these journeys those born under the sign of the Horse will encounter all sorts of adventures and if these should include anything from ice storms to volcanic lava explosions to unsurpassable mountains that is just fine because the Horse person can handle anything. The Horse sign is flexible and not in the least afraid of hard work.

Of course, the wilder, freer and more different the journey the better, because those of the Year of the Horse are not thrilled by routine.

The Horse is, in fact, considered the most independent of all the zodiac animals. Although extremely self-reliant, this gregarious and popular sign will almost always be at the centre of attention. It's obvious why, as they are quick-witted, positive and cheerful. Joy is always considered an important element in the Horse's world.
